2007 Legislative Update

SB 1128 (effective September 20, 2006) and Proposition 83 (effective November 8, 2006),  collectively
known as the “Sex Offender Punishment, Control and Containment Act of 2006" amended over forty
statutes and dramatically affected sex offender law.  Most importantly effected are the collateral
consequences of these convictions.
